With this second phase of Project Hotspot we will extend the geographical range of the project into South Taranaki.
While we will continue to record sightings from all around the region, focus will be placed on working with schools, surf clubs, dive clubs, surf lifesaving clubs and other relevant coastal users in South Taranaki in order to obtained a more balanced record of sightings around the Taranaki coastline. The majority of the schools programme will be run in Term 4 2016 (October to December) with an end user workshop planned for early 2017.
